Happy 4th of July!
Colten's first Independence Day was a great day! We went to 2 parties. The first one was a very nice gathering (as always) of the 5Hundy group. The second party was a block party that was on our cul-de-sac. Food, water games for the kids, great company and Ending with some fireworks. Colten missed them though he was fast asleep by the time we set off fireworks. He is a real party animal. We all enjoyed the day very much!
We are home for a couple of weeks now! Colten is quite the little traveler. We went to AZ in June to visit family and friends. It was great to see everyone! Colten had a blast visiting his cousins, Finn and Kai. They were so cute together. Whew! The boys are going to have so much fun growing up together! Gramps Ed, Uncle Jim and Aunt Lani had fun with Colten too (Gram was in VA). We spent plenty of time in the Barnhart pool. Colten was a trooper in the heat.
After a couple of days at home, we headed off to Oregon to McAlister Cottage where we got to visit Grandpa Hal, Grandma Sue and Aunt 'B'! We celebrated Aunt 'B's 31st birthday. Colten also got to meet all of his surrogate Grandparents on the 'Hill' at a morning coffee party on Grandma and Grandpa's porch. The weather was super nice. It was a very relaxing trip for all of us. Colten was amazing on the 6 hour car ride both ways. What a great little dude we have!
